Because Boiler Grants are funded by the Government, there is a process which needs to be checked and approved. You will need to have all of your necessary benefits paperwork in place, consent from your landlord (where necessary) and proof of home ownership.
If you have all of this in place, then you may still be able to have a free boiler installed before christmas. It is down to how fast the installer can fit you in, how busy their diary is etc.
